Yes. Your photo is stored only to render your results and is never shared, sold or used to train any model. Sessions are private by default. You can make one public via the share toggle on the results page and flip it back any time.
The AI keeps your face, expression, skin tone, freckles and background untouched and only edits the hair region. Results are approximations, not exact previews, but they show what each of your top 3 recommended cuts would actually look like on your face, not on a model.
Usually 2-3 minutes from upload to finished report. The face analysis runs first, then your ranked cuts render in parallel. You can close the tab and come back: the analysis runs on our servers and we email you a link as soon as it is ready.
A full visagiste-style report: a face-shape analysis across 6 anatomical dimensions, a facial-symmetry score with context, 3 cuts ranked from best to worst for your specific face. Each is rendered on your own photo with per-cut "why it works", "how to style", "pro tips" and the exact words to tell your barber. HD downloads, a shareable link if you want it, no watermark.
No. One payment of €4.99, one report. No recurring charges, no hidden add-ons, no usage limits on viewing your report once it is unlocked.
7-day money-back guarantee. Email contact@haircutright.com and we refund you, no questions asked. We would rather give you your money back than have you wear a cut that does not feel right.
By default the AI preserves your existing texture verbatim. Curls stay curly, straight stays straight. It filters cuts against your hair type so we never suggest a silhouette that falls flat on the texture you have. If you want to see what a different texture would look like, the wizard has a slider for that too.
Yes. Right before the analysis runs you set three sliders: hair texture (keep my curls / open to a change / surprise me), hair color (natural / subtle shift / bolder shift), and cut creativity (safe and flattering / a bit bolder / no limits when the face supports it). Defaults are conservative. Leave them at 0 and you get the safest, most face-flattering recommendations. Push them up and the AI unlocks more daring options.
Yes. From the results page you can flip a single toggle to make the report public and copy a shareable link. Toggle it back off any time and the link goes private again. The report itself stays attached to your account.
JPG, PNG and WEBP up to 20MB. We downscale oversized photos automatically before analysis. Tip: a clear front-facing photo with even lighting and your hair pulled back from the face produces the best results. The wizard guides you through it.
A visagiste is a stylist trained to read facial morphology: bone structure, proportions, symmetry, jawline, brow shape. They recommend cuts that flatter the face geometry rather than chase a trend. Our AI mirrors that practice: it observes your features specifically, then ranks cuts by how well they match what it sees on you.
It is genuinely good at reading the things a stylist reads from a clear photo: face shape, proportions, hairline, and current texture. It matches cuts that suit them. It cannot feel how thick your hair is, see the back of your head, or know your growth patterns, so treat the result as an expert starting point to refine with your stylist, not a guarantee. We aim for the honest version: useful and specific, never flattering for its own sake.
A straight-on selfie in soft, even light, looking at the camera, with your hair pulled back from your face and no hat, heavy filter, or sunglasses. The more clearly your hairline, jaw, and the shape of your face are visible, the sharper the analysis. A blurry, side-angle, or heavily edited photo is the most common reason a result feels off.
Each recommended cut comes with a plain-language description and a short barber script: the exact words to say to your stylist, plus the lengths and finish to ask for. Save the report on your phone, show the preview image of the cut you like, and read the script. It removes the "I don't know how to describe what I want" problem that leads to haircuts you didn't ask for.
Yes. The analysis reads your texture from the photo and only recommends cuts that work with it rather than against it, including curly and coily hair, fine or thinning hair, and grey or silver hair. If a popular style would fight your texture, it tells you and suggests one that won't.
